UHNW Private Household (West London)

Salary: c. £90,000 – £100,000 DOE

Schedule: 5 days per week, including every other weekend

One of our private clients requires a highly experienced House Manager to join a fully staffed, ultra-high-net-worth private residence in West London. This is a formal, fast-paced household requiring a dedicated professional with impeccable standards, outstanding leadership ability, and a hands-on approach to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and motivate a large team of household staff, including responsibility for recruitment, training and ongoing HR matters.
  • Oversee all household maintenance and refurbishment projects; liaise with contractors and suppliers; ensure all works are conducted to the highest standard (both reactive and planned).
  • Develop, manage and authorise household budgets, tenders and proposals.
  • Maintain oversight of all household systems – including air conditioning, heating, security, AV and integrated tech – ensuring optimal performance at all times.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Principals, providing seamless communication and exceptional service.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach to daily household operations, stepping in wherever needed to support the smooth running of the home.

Candidate Requirements

  • Extensive House Manager experience within a UHNW, fully staffed private household is essential.
  • A strong, proactive team player with the willingness to “roll up your sleeves” when required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with Principals, staff, guests, contractors and suppliers.
  • Ideally from an engineering background or with strong technical understanding of household systems and property operations.
  • Solid knowledge of service standards, F&B, and overall household presentation.
