An UHNW household in Central London is seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to join a fully staffed residence. The role requires working collaboratively within a team of three other housekeepers to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and care for the household.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all private housekeeping duties, ensuring all areas remain immaculate, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Laundry, including washing, ironing, care of fine clothing and delicate fabrics.
- Care for luxury furniture, artwork and high-end finishes.
- Handle minor maintenance issues and liaise with external contractors for repairs and servicing.
- Assist with household errands as required.
- Work in a child-friendly environment and provide occasional support with young children if needed.
- Comfortable around dogs and able to assist with pet care when necessary.
- Maintain strong communication with the household and other staff members.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in private UHNW households.
- Exceptional housekeeping skills with a keen eye for detail and organisation.
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role.
- Ability to manage household tasks independently and proactively.
- Experience in coordinating with contractors and overseeing minor household repairs.
- French and/or Spanish language skills are a plus.
5 or 6 days per week, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
£60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience and number of working days.
