A prestigious private household in Central London is seeking a highly professional, discreet, and experienced Butler to deliver impeccable service. The successful candidate will be service-oriented, flexible, and capable of upholding the highest standards of etiquette and discretion.
The household is very large and fully staffed. You will be working as part of a team of butlers, on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front-of-house duties including greeting guests and managing formal and informal service
- All F&B duties, including day-to-day table service, dinner parties and private events (including table settings and silver service) Reporting directly to the House Manager
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within a private household or luxury hospitality
- Impeccable manners, polished appearance, and excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of formal service and household etiquette
- Discreet, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Right to work in the UK
Working five days per week, including some weekends, 10 hours per day. Shift patterns will vary:
6AM-4PM
10AM-8PM
1PM-11PM
