Overview

Here at Anton Vets in Andover, we are excited to welcome a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team.

As our new OOH Veterinary Nurse, you will work 7 nights on (7pm – 8am) and 14 nights off. We can be flexible to build a rota that would suit you, with the option to join us on the daytime rota for some shifts if you would like to.

The role will involve caring for inpatients; a mix of exotics and small animals. We treat and hospitalise a wide range of species from bearded dragons, rabbits and chickens to penguins and most things in between. You will also assist the on-call vet with emergency cases and surgeries as required.

We are keen on CPD and career progression and would support further study to certificate level if you are looking to gain further qualifications.

Practice facilities

Our practice is purpose built with 8 consulting rooms, 2 large operating theatres, a separate dental theatre, imaging suite, 6 wards including a separate exotic ward, as well as CT scanner and ultrasound to support diagnostics.
