Job Overview: We are looking for a results-driven business development professional to drive sales within the UK's omnichannel retail and commerce sector. This role focuses on managing and converting a high-intent pipeline, generated through inbound leads and partnerships. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep understanding of the local UK market to engage directly with mid-market merchants, demonstrating how our solutions unify their online and in-store payment experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Sales Management: Own the end-to-end sales cycle for a pipeline of qualified mid-market prospects. Sources include partner referrals, inbound marketing leads, and self-sourced opportunities.
- Omnichannel Solution Expertise: Serve as the expert on unified commerce. Consult with merchants operating both online and offline (e.g., retail, hospitality) to tailor solutions that integrate payment systems, enhance customer experience, and streamline operations.
- Partner Liaison for Lead Generation: Work collaboratively with our Partner team to understand the value proposition for key Platforms/ISVs/ISOs, effectively follow up on their referred leads, and ensure a seamless handover and sales process that strengthens the partner relationship.
- Deal Execution: Ability to effectively convert partner-sourced leads is essential. Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficient in English; Chinese language skills are a strong plus.
