The Role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys both hands-on financial work and business partnering across multiple international entities. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of the Group’s month-end close process, supporting local finance teams, and maintaining robust financial control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Month-End Close & Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Review and support the monthly close process for all entities within the Group. Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Identify and resolve variances, errors, or inconsistencies across the ledgers.
  • Finance Business Partnering: Act as a key finance partner to our teams in the US, Canada, Brazil, and Denmark, providing financial insight and support. Collaborate with regional stakeholders to understand performance drivers and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Expense Management & Reporting: Support employee expense filing and reporting processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and internal controls. Assist in preparing expense analyses for management review.
  • Ad-Hoc Bookkeeping & Financial Support: Assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks and financial projects as required. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of work experience in a related field such as finance or accounting.
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and month-end processes.
  • Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience working across international teams.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a multi-entity or multinational environment.
  • Previous exposure to expense management systems (e.g., Aspire, Concur).
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative finance team.
