About Antler Elevate

Managed from offices in London, Singapore, New York, and San Francisco, Antler Elevate invests in remarkable founders beyond day zero—providing scale-up capital from Series A onwards for companies that have ambitious mindsets, show strong signs of product-market fit, and demonstrate compounding growth. Some of these companies were supported in Antler’s early-stage funds, which cover 20+ ecosystems. Others are startups new to the portfolio, having raised seed investments outside Antler’s early-stage funds.

The Role

  • Define and lead the strategic roadmap for investment execution, investor relations, and portfolio management initiatives.
  • Serve as a key operational member of the Investment Committee, advising fund partners on structuring and complex financial due diligence.
  • Oversee and direct the governance, legal, compliance, and operations functions for the Antler Elevate, ensuring best-in-class risk management.
  • Develop and implement the annual financial strategy, including providing strategic oversight of all financial activities, budgeting, expense classification, and vendor payments.
  • Manage the relationship with the fund administrator and AIFM to ensure timely approval and execution of all transactions and alerting fund partners to issues when needed.
  • Direct the entire fund reporting cycle, including final approval of annual financial statements, external audits, and tax filings with global regulators.
  • Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with key external stakeholders, including Limited Partners (LPs), governmental regulatory bodies, legal advisors, and auditors.
  • Act as an individual contributor, demonstrating the ability to balance high-level strategic planning with hands-on execution of daily tasks.
  • Provide high-level strategic support to portfolio companies on financial, operational, and governance matters.
  • Other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

Your Background

  • Higher education and 7+ years previous experience within fund management, accounting, auditing or legal/compliance; CPA or similar accounting designation would be considered an advantage.
  • Interest in venture capital and startups.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and MS Office or Google Suite.
  • Proactive and positive personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly analytical, and organized with an excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Possesses a strategic, 'big picture' mindset, combined with a willingness and ability to personally execute detailed, hands-on tasks as an individual contributor.
  • Ability to propose constructive and creative ideas to address observed gaps.
  • Ability to thrive on challenges in a very fast-paced and high-volume environment where quality and speed are of essence.
  • High level of integrity and takes accountability of work.
  • Comfortable dealing with various stakeholders such as founders and investors.
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones as adjusting working hours to the needs of a global team that spans San Francisco to Singapore.
  • Comfortable using AI tools and platforms to enhance efficiency in financial analysis and operations.
  • Experience with the Luxembourg venture capital regulatory would be considered a significant advantage.
