Drive INSHUR’s growth by building high-value broker partnerships and delivering innovative, tech-driven insurance solutions that redefine the industry. INSHUR is the embedded insurance powerhouse for the on-demand world. We partner with giants like Uber and Amazon to provide fair, data-backed coverage for the modern workforce. We’re 200 people strong across the UK, US, and Netherlands, using AI as a multiplier to stay ahead of the curve.
The role involves driving growth and maintaining partnerships with brokers, supporting INSHUR’s ambitious goals by fostering strong relationships, ensuring FCA compliance, and delivering innovative insurance solutions tailored to our broker network and carrier partners. You'll come into the office once a week, with the rest of your time working from home and travelling to meet brokers.
What you'll do:
- Deliver channel growth & market expansion: Own the broker distribution strategy end-to-end—driving top-line GWP, revenue growth, and expanding INSHUR's market share through both key account scaling and new broker acquisition.
- Build a high-performing, compliant partner ecosystem: Transform the broker network by executing thorough onboarding, optimizing underperforming accounts, and ensuring strict adherence to Consumer Duty and FCA regulatory standards.
- Bridge product, tech, and distribution: Align underwriters, engineering, operations, and partner integration teams to eliminate operational friction and build seamless broker systems.
- Turn broker insights into strategic action: Influence cross-functional leadership and enable internal teams by delivering data-driven market proposals, competitive insights, and transparent KPI reporting.
- Drive continuous product & process evolution: Champion the voice of the broker internally, translating partner feedback and market analysis into continuous process improvements.
What we're looking for:
- Proven track record in insurance distribution and broker management.
- Deep understanding of UK insurance compliance and Consumer Duty.
- Data-led decision-making and commercial analysis.
- Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience onboarding and educating partners.
Nice to have:
- Experience in commercial motor, fleet, or mobility insurance.
- Familiarity with API-first integrations or partner tech setups.
- Experience running structured broker feedback loops.
- Active network within the UK broker landscape.
How the Insurance team uses AI:
Using Claude to support data analysis of broker performance and using Gemini to help streamline preparation for broker meetings.
What to expect from the process:
- Screen: A 30-minute call with the Talent team.
- First interview: A 60-minute video call with the Lead Product Underwriter and People Ops Lead.
- Case study: An in-person interview at our Brighton office with the Director of Insurance and a key stakeholder.
What we offer:
- Competitive salary, benchmarked to market by location.
- 30 days of holiday annually, plus bank holidays.
- Private healthcare for you and your family.
- Life insurance at 3x your salary.
- 13 weeks parental leave at full pay for new parents.
- Workplace nursery scheme.
- Ride to work scheme.
- Workplace pension scheme.
- Flexible working hours.
- £500 annual personal training allowance.
- £40 monthly wellbeing allowance.
- 24/7 Employee Assistance Program.
- Unlimited AI usage with Claude and Gemini.
Working here:
You’ll do well here if you move through ambiguity, take ownership of outcomes, adapt quickly, and look for ways to improve processes.
This probably isn't the right fit if you prefer clearly defined processes and a stable environment.
Inclusion and flexibility:
INSHUR is committed to building a diverse team. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are open to discussing flexible arrangements for the right person.
