Antiverse are using AI to design antibodies against difficult-to-drug targets, and they’re now at the stage where that platform is translating into real discovery programmes. This is where you come in.
This is a hands-on discovery role where you’ll be running projects end-to-end in the lab, with the autonomy to make decisions and the backing of a strong multidisciplinary team. You’ll take ownership of antibody discovery campaigns, working across phage display, screening, and functional validation, while also having the space to bring in new ideas and improve how things are done. It’s not just execution. You’ll be expected to think, challenge, and push the science forward.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running phage display campaigns against recombinant proteins and cell-based targets
- Working with and developing overexpressing cell lines, including GPCR systems
- Preparing and analysing samples for next-generation sequencing
- Designing and improving screening and functional assay workflows
- Identifying and implementing new technologies to increase throughput and quality
- Leading your own discovery projects within the lab environment
- Working closely with computational and cross-functional teams to translate findings
What They’re Looking For
- PhD (or equivalent industry experience) in a relevant field
- Strong hands-on experience in antibody discovery and biologics
- Experience with phage display, particularly against cell-based antigens
- Exposure to library design and optimisation
- Experience running or leading lab-based projects
- Familiarity with GPCR biology or functional assays is a strong advantage
- Comfortable working independently, but also highly collaborative
- Strong communication, able to operate at pace without losing rigour
Why This Role
This is one of those roles where you actually get ownership. You’re not just a small part of a large machine, you’re directly contributing to how programmes move forward and how the science evolves. If you’re someone who wants to take more control of your work, push ideas forward, and be part of a company at a genuine inflection point, this is worth a conversation.
