Job Overview
The Bridport Integrated Community Rehabilitation team is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work within the Multidisciplinary team on Colmers ward at Bridport Hospital and in the community setting.

Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check (cost covered by the Trust). Applicants with a valid DBS certificate via the update service are preferred.
- Applicants requiring Skilled Worker sponsorship are ineligible.
Responsibilities
Provide OT-based rehabilitation for physical conditions such as stroke, neurology, orthopaedics, frailty, falls, and cognitive impairments.
Skills needed include moving and handling, equipment use, cognitive assessments, holistic patient-centered rehab planning, and experience working with older adults and those with frailty.
May require working across 7 days on a rota basis.
Candidate Skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and caseload management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, supervise junior colleagues, and contribute to service development.
