An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Staff Nurse with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding holistic care to join the Dialysis Team on secondment. The Renal Dialysis Unit is a diverse, multi-disciplinary environment that requires flexible, adaptable skills and a motivation to develop your own clinical skills in line with progressive service delivery. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality, safe nursing care driven by patient experience and evidence-based best practice. You will have the chance to help patients on their journey to independence and work in a technical, fast-paced environment within the Haemodialysis Unit.
Main Duties of the Job
- Provide a high standard of evidence-based, patient-centred care.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain efficient ward operations and deputise in the absence of senior staff.
- Deliver care to a group of patients in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct, Trust policies and procedures.
- Manage the shift regularly in the absence of the ward– or departmental senior nurse and senior staff nurse.
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels, external agencies, patients, visitors and the general public.
