This is a full-time, on-site Sales Account Manager role based in Bury St Edmunds. The Sales Account Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across target industries. The role involves:
- Monitoring account performance and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinating with internal teams on pricing, inventory, and logistics.
- Responding promptly to inquiries and issues.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and forecasting sales.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience.
Requirements:
- Proven Account Management experience with a focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service.
- Experience selling technical or industrial products.
- Ability to analyse customer needs, interpret technical requirements, and recommend appropriate product or service solutions.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems (Salesforce ideally), sales reporting tools, and basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with operations, procurement, and customer support teams.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in supply chain solutions, managed services, or value-based solution selling.
- Relevant qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
