Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy practice located in the Harrow area, that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing team.

You will work closely with a varied portfolio of clients, providing a broad range of accounting and advisory services while developing strong client relationships.
The Role
As Senior Accountant, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality accounting services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients, including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
- Preparing management accounts and financial information.
- Supporting clients with tax compliance and general accounting matters.
- Preparing VAT returns and other relevant financial submissions.
- Managing client deadlines and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Providing accounting advice and identifying opportunities to add value to clients.
- Reviewing work and supporting junior members of the team.
- Working closely with colleagues across the practice to deliver a high standard of client service.
- The Person
We are looking for an experienced accountant who is confident working within an accountancy practice and enjoys developing strong relationships with clients.
You will ideally have
- 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Experience preparing accounts for a variety of clients.
- Good knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- AAT, ACCA or ACA qualification, or be qualified by experience.
