Job Duties

  • Design, implement, and support end-to-end on-premises IT infrastructure (network, systems, and cloud environments).
  • Implement, operate, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, NAC, load balancers, wired/wireless networks).
  • Deploy, configure, and support Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and storage systems.
  • Support Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity environments (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange, Teams).
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex infrastructure issues.
  • Implement security controls including segmentation, hardening, patching, and vulnerability management.
  • Manage monitoring platforms (Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG, Nagios) including performance tuning and alert optimisation.
  • Support ITSM processes (incident, problem, change) and participate in on-call operations.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, lifecycle management, and technical documentation standards.
  • Manage vendors, SLAs, and infrastructure-related projects.
  • Provide L1/L2 support for end-user computing (Windows workstations and enterprise applications).

Job Requirements

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or network engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls (policy management, VPN, NAT, troubleshooting) is required.
  • Strong hands-on experience in the following areas:
    • Networking: routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, VLAN, NAC.
    • Systems: Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V.
    • Enterprise technologies: Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, F5, Microsoft 365, SIEM, PAM.
    • Monitoring & operations: Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG, Nagios, ITSM tools, backup solutions (e.g. Veeam).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Experience in system hardening, patch management, and security operations.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in regulated environments (finance, telecom, technology) is an advantage.
