Job Duties:

  • Coordinate with system vendors and major mobile network operators (StarHub and M1) to support 5G RAN deployment and ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Support system acceptance and testing activities including BFT, IPV, CAC, FAC, UAT, and SCFV.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize 4G/5G radio network performance using OSS KPIs, logs, traces, and third-party performance data.
  • Perform root cause analysis on network issues and drive corrective optimization actions.
  • Develop and automate network performance and usage reports, including worst-performing cell analysis and network slice monitoring.
  • Evaluate and implement network change requests, including radio parameter tuning and software feature enhancements.
  • Maintain and manage 5G radio network site databases and change request trackers.
  • Support technical solutioning and framework development for shared network technologies such as ORAN, AI-RAN, orchestration, and automation.
  • Conduct resiliency audits and ensure compliance with relevant 5G licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Support major event network planning and performance reviews (e.g. large-scale public events and national deployments).
  • Collaborate on RFx technical requirements and support compliance with regulatory and operational standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 7-15 years of experience in radio network planning, optimization, and performance engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge of 4G/5G SA/NSA RAN technologies, RF optimization, and network architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with OSS, network performance monitoring, coverage planning, and analytics tools (e.g. Nokia NetAct, MantaRay, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical skills in KPI correlation, root cause analysis, and network performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of IP networking is an advantage.
  • Programming/scripting skills (SQL, Python) is an added advantage.
  • Self-driven team player with good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
