Report To: Operations Director
About Us:
Antidote runs corporate and residential wellbeing across London: gym design and management, personal training, group exercise and wellness events inside some of the city's best buildings. We're a boutique operator, not a chain: small teams, high standards, and a service level closer to a private members club than a gym.
The Role:
The role of the Regional Operations Manager is to provide the highest level of personalised customer care and service to our clients, in line with the agreed service standards and procedures. You will be responsible for the successful management of all operations across the Antidote portfolio. You will be an exceptional leader with strong sales and operational management skills, focusing daily on driving both the commercial, operational and service aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Operations: Lead and supervise all operational activities within Antidote sites, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
- Leadership and Development: Provide strong leadership to General Managers and Assistant General Managers, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, contacts and stakeholders for managed contracts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Strategic Planning: Translate strategic plans into operational initiatives, driving business growth and profitability.
- Financial Management: Own the P&L for each site. Hold sites to budget, achieve revenue targets, control operational expenditure, and report performance to the Operations Director monthly.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews with direct reports, recognising excellence and addressing underperformance promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Establish and nurture a culture of continuous business improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations meet Health & Safety requirements, prioritising the well-being of employees, residents and clients.
- Customer Service Excellence: Enhance customer service activities and implement minimum standards across all client interactions, maintaining the company's reputation for luxury and excellence.
- New Site Openings: Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to ensure smooth openings of new managed sites, aligning operations with company standards and objectives.
About You:
Essential:
- At least three years managing managers, either in a multi-site role or across a large and complex single site.
- A background in premium fitness, commercial, hospitality, residential amenity or build-to-rent, or another luxury service environment.
- A track record of holding a high service standard consistently.
- Comfortable owning a P&L: you can read one, explain a variance and act on it.
- Credible with senior client stakeholders – you can hold a room with an asset manager or a property management team.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety: risk assessments, incident reporting, emergency procedures.
- Confident with systems and data: scheduling, reporting and CRM tools – and comfortable making decisions from numbers.
- Able to work flexibly across London, including occasional early starts, evenings and weekend events.
Desirable:
- Experience in prime residential, commercial, corporate, build-to-rent or amenity operations.
- Experience mobilising or opening a new site.
- IOSH Managing Safely Qualification.
What We Offer:
- £47,000 – £50,000 base depending on experience, plus a performance bonus of up to £5,000 linked to client retention, site P&L and team stability.
- Pension.
- Funded CPD and qualifications.
- A small senior team and direct access to the founders – real ownership of a portfolio, rather than a layer in a hierarchy.
