Job Summary
We are looking for a creative, organised, and social‑media‑savvy Group Marketing Assistant to support our growing portfolio of pubs. The ideal candidate will assist in executing brand campaigns, designing in‑house POS materials, managing social media channels, and updating digital content to drive footfall and guest engagement across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Creative Work: Design marketing materials (posters, flyers, menus, banners) using Canva or Adobe InDesign for various pub events and promotions. Maintain brand consistency across all print and digital collateral. Photograph food, drinks, and team members at locations to create authentic content.
- Social Media & Content: Create and schedule engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok for multiple sites to boost local engagement. Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely, friendly manner. Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends and implement them to increase brand awareness.
- Marketing Support & Administration: Support the Marketing Manager with promotional campaigns and seasonal marketing plans. Update company websites (using CMS such as WordPress) with new events, menus, and information. Liaise with pub teams and internal stakeholders to gather information for newsletters and campaigns. Raise purchase orders, manage stock of marketing materials, and coordinate with printing agencies.
- Reporting: Monitor social media engagement and report weekly/monthly on platform performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign) for design work.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Meta Business Suite, TikTok) and how to use them to drive engagement.
- Excellent copywriting skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Hospitality industry experience is highly desirable.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working across multiple projects.
