Role Summary
The Personal Stylist (Apparel) cultivates the overall service and selling culture in the store and drives sales by developing authentic customer connections, offering expert styling advice, and providing an individualised experience with curated product recommendations. They are a key member of the store's leadership team and act as a brand representative in upholding values of creativity, culture, and collaboration.
What You'll Be Doing
- CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Customer Connection: leads and sets a positive example in relationship building, styling, and networking with customers to drive sales and metrics within the store.
- In-Store Styling: educates team on curating elevated product recommendations based on the customer’s preferences.
- Appointments: generates impromptu and formal appointment opportunities to cultivate customer relationships and drive KPIs.
- Omni-Channel Service: advocates for technology usage and encourages team to transact in the moment, upsell, and clientele.
- Special Projects: mentors Home Stylists in the region through the process of consulting and completing large scale and high visibility projects.
- TEAMWORK + MENTORSHIP
- Product Knowledge: plans and leads fit sessions; utilizes Threads and the Loop to share relevant styling and product knowledge with team so associates can confidently speak to fit and function.
- Develop and Coach: identifies skill and knowledge gaps amongst team as it pertains to home styling, service, and selling, mentors and trains accordingly.
- Team Partnership: develops and maintains productive team leadership and CEM relationships to identify and act on business needs.
- Brand Directives: assists in facilitating company-directed behaviors, workshops, and courses.
- BUSINESS OPERATIONS
- Business Acumen: demonstrates a global understanding of the business and assesses store and personal KPIs to inform behaviours and convert customers.
- Drive Sales: drives apparel and accessories department sales in the store through high-level service, selling, and styling to achieve company outreach goals.
- Entrepreneurship: takes initiative to identify business-driving opportunities through outreach and networking; actions opportunities in partnership with store leadership to drive incremental sales for the store.
- COMMUNICATION + RELATIONSHIPS
- Customer Insights: communicates customer insights and shopping patterns to leadership team and action plans accordingly.
- Program Advocate: educates team and customer on the purpose and benefits of the Personal Stylist role and program.
- Talent Identification: identifies high performing Styling Specialists and communicates potential for growth to leadership.
- Relationships: cultivates productive relationships with leadership and selling and service team that contributes to a collaborative, customer-centric environment.
- Customer: utilizes provided technology tools to communicate with customer in accordance to defined frequency and quality standards.
