Role Summary

As a Senior BAA, you will support the daily operational functions within your designated buying team. You will also learn to develop key cross functional relationships with both internal and external partners in the head office in both the US and the UK.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Ownership over the department critical path.
  • Provide administrative support to the buying team covering all classes issues/queries.
  • Purchase order placement; accurately keying orders for UK market product.
  • PO tracking and management; ensure PO’s are delivered in a timely manner to support stock flow.
  • Manage intake and liaise with external brands.
  • Maintain all internal systems with accurate information updates.
  • Assist with Monday Trade meeting preparation.
  • Sample management; working with our vendor base to track samples for seasonal press days, passing samples for web photography, general sample organization, arranging for meetings and sign offs.
  • Presentations and picture packs; preparing these for assortment reviews, quarterly hindsight meetings, monthly store communication and concession assortment planning.
  • Maintaining on-going assortment sheets for the Assistant Buyer.
  • Keeping our pictorial system (MTS) up to date.
  • Types and send fit comments, manage fit samples and appointments.
  • Additional ad-hoc tasks.
  • Carrying out comp shopping trips to develop and maintain knowledge of the current marketplace.
  • Contribute creative ideas for the business, research and suggest new brands and trends relevant to the Anthropologie customer.
  • Support and strive towards Diversity and Inclusion within the workplace aligning with company values.
  • Consider and drive sustainability within decision making, sourcing and contributions to the wider business.
