Role Summary
We are looking for a PR & Events Manager who will be responsible for leading and elevating Anthropologie EU's brand presence across key markets. This role defines and executes integrated PR and events strategies that build brand awareness, deepen customer engagement, and drive store and digital footfall. You will play a key leadership role in shaping culturally relevant, visually inspiring, and commercially impactful brand experiences, while ensuring strong alignment across marketing, social and retail channels.
What You'll Be Doing
- PR Strategy & Media Relations
- Lead the development and execution of integrated PR strategies aligned with seasonal campaigns, brand objectives, and commercial priorities, driving sustained growth in media reach, brand awareness, and cultural relevance.
- Secure high-quality coverage across leading fashion, lifestyle, and national media titles through strong editorial relationships and proactive storytelling.
- Oversee gifting strategy, including product selection, press gifting schedules, and loan management.
- Manage all press office functions, including sample management, press loan tracking, and responding to inbound media requests.
- Lead and nurture long‑term strategic relationships with influencers, brand partners, and cultural collaborators.
- Oversee collaboration with international/franchise PR teams.
- Support reactive press management and corporate communications.
- Events Strategy & Execution
- Own the end‑to‑end EU events strategy, including press and influencer events, VIP dinners, community partnerships, pop‑ups, and in‑store activations.
- Lead the conceptualisation and delivery of culturally relevant brand experiences.
- Lead store opening events and activations.
- Oversee key experiential spaces, including the Kings Road pop‑up store.
- Develop and deliver a customer events programme.
- Brand Strategy, Cross‑Functional & Commercial Leadership
- Manage EU Press & Events strategy, translating global brand direction into locally relevant initiatives.
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Social, Marketing, Retail, and Creative teams.
- Own commercial accountability for PR and events activity.
- Insights, Budget & Team Leadership
- Own performance analysis across PR and events activity.
- Deliver clear, senior‑level reporting and trade analysis.
- Manage and optimise budgets across PR and events activity.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the PR Executive and PR Assistant.
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships across internal leadership teams and external partners.
What You'll Need
- Proven management experience in PR, events and experiential marketing within fashion, lifestyle, or premium retail.
- A strong, established network of media, influencer, and industry contacts across the UK and European markets.
- Proven track record of leading high‑profile, culturally relevant events and integrated PR campaigns.
- Experience managing and developing a team.
- Demonstrated experience managing external agencies and international or franchise PR teams.
- Strong budget management experience.
- A data‑literate approach to PR and events.
- End‑to‑end events experience.
- Ability to bridge physical and digital activations.
- Commercially minded with sharp instincts for how brand activity translates to footfall, revenue and long‑term brand performance.
