Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Junior Buyer who has technical know‑how and skill, as well as creative flair to join the Anthropologie Womenswear Apparel team. They will be responsible for always ensuring the strongest possible product offering is available to our customer. This role will be within the T‑shirts and Knitwear team. We are looking for an ambitious, flexible, passionate, creative and business minded individual. The ideal candidate will thrive from working in a fast‑paced environment and will have extensive knowledge of our customer and the market.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Working across the Womenswear Apparel division focusing on T-shirts and Knitwear
  • Manage class assortment and OTB, range plan, IMU goals and balanced attributes.
  • Trade and react areas at pace while maintaining a consistent product offer.
  • Grow Direct business and identify potential in the retail market.
  • Strategically thinking about the product offer and constantly trading and reacting to fill gaps and potentialise the online and retail business
  • Developing strong relationships with the US buying, design and production team
  • Range building from own brand product from the US while developing and sourcing the UK mix of product, working closely with vendors to create innovative product designs.
  • Actively source a diverse and inclusive product range.
  • Champion sustainability and work to drive growth in own classes alongside brand strategy.
  • Manage team to ensure smooth running of critical path - including retail strategies and marketing support.
  • Continued sales analysis and strategy implementation in partnership with planning to hit budget goals.
  • Read, run and analyse all weekly reports including velocities, attribute reports and colour selling
  • Awareness of trends, develop and source product and brands that are a great fit for Anthropologie.
  • Ability to react to changing demands of the market place.
  • Preparing and presenting weekly sales meetings and assortment reviews.
  • Take on additional brand level tasks across the teams and functions to ensure the business objectives are followed from a product and delivery point of view.
  • Travel to US based head office where required, along with EU travel

What You'll Need

  • Ideally you will have experience within Apparel buying, at Junior Buyer level.
  • It would be great if you have experience working within Jersey and Knit categories
  • Experienced in working across multiple lead times at any one time
  • Accomplished at delivering on key business strategies
  • Experience working with a global buying team.
  • Using a mixture of selection buying, branded buying and product development. (preferred but not essential)
  • Experienced at product development with vendors.
  • You will be a creative thinker with solid business acumen and understanding of Anthropologie and the UK/EU customer.
  • Strong communicator and team leader.
  • Organised and flexible.
  • Enthusiastic about the brand and product.
  • Professional and able to work under pressure.
