Role Summary
The Digital Analyst will be responsible for defining, collecting, and analysing visitor behaviour and data across the Anthropologie UK/EU website, app, and mobile applications to deliver actionable insights into the brand's ecommerce experience and digital marketing performance. Working closely with the Trade & Marketing teams, the role requires a passion for learning, adaptability, and an ability to understand the wider business context. The Digital Analyst will leverage data from multiple sources, including Google Analytics and proprietary databases, to analyse customer behaviour, optimise website performance and enhance the overall user experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analyse customer behaviour across digital touchpoints to understand the end-to-end customer journey and identify optimisation opportunities across Web, App, and Mobile platforms.
- Proactively identify underperforming areas across websites, mobile apps, and digital touchpoints, recommending actions to improve conversion, engagement, and user experience.
- Use Google Analytics and proprietary data sources to track user interactions, conversion funnels, and drop-off points, identifying key drivers of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Extract, combine, and analyse data from multiple sources using SQL, performing advanced analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Qlik, owning regular performance reporting across key ecommerce KPIs including traffic, conversion, revenue, and customer experience.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver insights aligned to business objectives and optimisation initiatives.
- Support the implementation and governance of Google Analytics tracking and tagging to ensure accurate and consistent measurement across digital platforms.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly through concise reporting, PowerPoint presentations, and stakeholder discussions.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and insight support to the EU Digital team as required.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a Web Analyst or similar role in an eCommerce or digital marketing environment.
- Strong technical skills in SQL for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics or similar web analytics platforms, with a focus on analysing customer behaviour and website performance.
- Experience in A/B testing management, including experiment design, implementation, and analysis.
- Proficiency in report and dashboard building using Qlik or similar BI tools.
- Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
