Role Summary
The Creative Store Experience Leader is a visual merchandising expert supporting head office retail teams and store teams. They take a forward-thinking approach to customer experience, space allocation, merchandising, styling and display to drive sales and engage the customer in our retail spaces.
What You'll Be Doing
- Customer Experience
- Influence: partners with the field teams on the creation of an engaging experience that appeals to the Anthro customer
- Brand and Customer Connection: leads and supports visual initiatives & direction to evolve the retail experience
- Reimagine Retail: as the brand experience, product categories, and omni-channel capabilities expand creates an environment that provides an engaging and personalized experience for each customer
- Leadership + Team Management
- Lead: advises store leadership in maintaining a visually compelling store to drive sales and meet budget while upholding presentation standards and high level of craft
- Collaborate: partners closely with store and head office leadership to plan and execute projects; prioritising the overall store & visual team objectives (including display & merchandising team/s). Provides examples of high-level visual executions to share within the store fleet
- Grow: identifies and trains others in preparation for career progression; mentors store leadership to develop visual acuity. Actively sources or creates training materials after identifying problem or opportunity areas that need development within the fleet. Following through with training, check-ins, feedback and accountability.
- Visual + Business Operations
- Visual Environment: collaborates with Home Office visual team to apply visual direction in store, taking into account market investments and any local trends the EU business are delivering, based on individual store product mix, layout, & volume
- Planning and Execution: collaborations in merchandising & display planning process through sharing of inspiration, idea generation, sketching, & store bubble planning; supports the Retail leaders by mentoring other teams within the district through this process.
- Prioritisation and Time Management: partners with creative experience team, Cluster / District Manager, & Senior Display Artists to align on visual priorities, workshops, & initiatives within store & district.
- Communication + Relationships
- Build Relationships: builds and maintains productive partnerships within head office functions contributing to a culture of strong communication and teamwork while being open and responsive to feedback.
- Share Knowledge: provides feedback & direction to store team with high-level approach to shop placement, product presentation, styling, & marketing placement; provides examples of your approach in these areas with District Manager, for mentorship & development for store teams in the district and/or region
- Adapt: demonstrates adaptability by redirecting merchandising priorities as needed to work through problem solving scenarios
