The Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London’s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works. This role will be based on site in London at the Elephant & Castle office 3 days a week.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer with a Building Services background, you will be a senior member of the Rail team and will be required to support the Associate Director, who leads the MEPHFC team. You will lead and manage other engineers and be responsible for the delivery of electrical designs, helping to grow the team and developing its technical capability.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Member of an engineering institute and has Engineering Council Professional Registration
- Experience in rail station electrical services design and coordination
- Comprehensive knowledge of British Standards and Regulations, and Rail Standards, such as Network Rail, HS2 and TfL
- Proficient at leading meetings and presenting to clients, stakeholders, colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers etc.
- Excellent understanding of electrical systems from a technical, design, installation, buildability, and maintenance perspective
- Knowledge of engineering software tools including Trimble/Amtech Pro Design, Dialux or Relux
