We are looking for a Senior PR and Celebrity Manager (Supporter and Youth) to join our Communications & Engagement team.
Title: Senior PR and Celebrity Manager (Supporter and Youth)
Salary: £49,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)
Location: Hybrid, with head office in Hampstead, London
We need a talented senior manager to shape, develop and lead our PR activity and celebrity influencer engagement to raise the profile of our lifesaving work among supporter and youth audiences so we can have even greater impact for patients.
You and your team will build impactful relationships with celebrities, influencers and storytellers and use media relations and partnerships to grow awareness and help create a future where every patient that needs us can survive and thrive.
You will:
- Lead, develop and deliver the supporter and youth communications strategy to grow Anthony Nolan’s reach and influence among key audiences.
- Champion our patient and donor storytellers, putting them at the heart of our work and support the stories manager to ensure best practice across the organisation.
- Provide senior leadership and colleagues across Anthony Nolan with strategic advice on the best use of PR and celebrity support to amplify key moments and opportunities.
- Support the celebrity engagement manager to nurture and build relationships with dedicated high-profile supporters.
- Collaborate with the social media team to create and deliver integrated PR and social campaigns, with a focus on young people, for greater reach and impact.
- Provide expert communications guidance for patient appeals by shaping messaging and media strategy, contributing to cross-organisational planning and reporting, and guiding delivery through matrix -style management.
- Report to the Head of Communications and Engagement and line manage three direct reports.
- Be a key member of the ambitious Communications and Engagement team, working collaboratively with colleagues and building relationships for success.
