We are looking for a Senior Events Manager to join our Fundraising team.

  • Salary: £44,000 - £46,000 per annum
  • Contract: 12‑month fixed term (maternity cover)
  • Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)
  • Location: Hybrid*, with head office in Hampstead, London

Job Summary

This role is positioned within our Challenge Events sub‑unit, working to generate fundraising by maximizing Anthony Nolan's presence at third‑party sporting events including the London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead fundraising at challenge events and work with high level supporters.
  • Meet and exceed fundraising targets, demonstrating success.
  • Coach and support line staff to achieve agreed goals.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and cross‑team partners on shared projects.
  • Manage complex plans and budgets, perform monthly reconciliations and quarterly reforecasts.
  • Apply marketing expertise to grow events and innovate acquisition approaches.
  • Build relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply fundraising best practice within an events and marketing context.

Desired Experience

  • Significant challenge events fundraising experience, or equivalent relationship‑focused fundraising.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Experience of coaching or line‑management to achieve goals.
  • Strong marketing background for event growth and innovation.
