Position Overview
We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our Quality and Regulation team.
- Salary: starting at £39,000 per annum
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)
- Location: Nottingham (Cell Therapy Centre and Cell Collection Centre), hybrid working (2 days per week on-site, this may increase in periods such as audits)
Job Summary
The Quality Manager will drive the quality agenda within the Anthony Nolan Cell Therapy Centre, Cord Collection Sites, and Cell Therapy & Laboratory Services. They will work with colleagues to maintain compliance with Human Tissue Authority (HTA) and FACT-Netcord standards. Through quality improvement initiatives, they will work to deliver high-quality services that meet the expectations of customers and the high standards we are driven to comply with. Driving the quality culture, they will refine and review the quality management roadmap and ensure that colleagues are abreast of the compliance requirements and have a full understanding of them and their role in this. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the quality management team of a dynamic organisation striving to improve the lives of patients every day.
Qualifications
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professional, with experience of working in a quality management function within a healthcare environment. An individual with excellent interpersonal skills, strong IT skills (preferably working with Q-pulse), with proficiency in preparation and presentation of (quality) related data, auditing, and reporting. It would be an advantage to have experience within a cord blood bank either as a scientist or as a quality manager. A background as a scientist would also be highly desirable.
