Overview
PR & Communications Senior Officer (Research & Policy) role at Anthony Nolan. We are looking for a talented individual to join our Communications and Engagement team to help develop and deliver PR and communications for our research and policy work, raising the profile of lifesaving research and vital policy activities.
We are Anthony Nolan. We work to uncover answers inside us for people with blood cancer and blood disorders, growing our stem cell register so everyone who needs a transplant can find a lifesaving match. We are driven by patients, backed by stem cell donors, and powered by science, with a vision to enable every patient to survive and thrive.

What you will do
- Develop and deliver PR plans and tactics to secure impactful media coverage for our policy, clinical and life sciences work.
- Utilise strong national and specialist media relations experience to deliver media coverage for medical research and health policy stories.
- Build relationships with journalists, scientists, patient storytellers and senior leadership.
- Understand and monitor current and emerging health policy issues and medical research.
- Proactively react to the news agenda to promote our policy positions and messaging.
- Collaborate effectively within the Communications and Engagement team to achieve success.
