We are looking for a Director of Quality and Regulatory to join our Quality and Regulatory team.
Salary: £72,000 per annum
Contract: Fixed-term, (12 months, maternity cover)
Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)
Location: Hybrid, 2 - 3 days per week on-site between London and Nottingham locations
Job Summary
In this role you will sit at the heart of our services ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the highest governance standards. You will be responsible for working with colleagues, regulatory and accrediting bodies, external organisations, and cellular therapy clients; to ensure Anthony Nolan’s processes are fit-for-purpose in the UK and International Regulatory landscape.
Responsibilities
- Lead, direct and deliver expertise to drive forward the quality, regulatory aims and objectives of Anthony Nolan.
- Proactively monitor regulatory changes in the environment and lead ongoing compliance with legislation, quality, regulatory and accreditation requirements, including CQC/HTA readiness and best practice codes of conduct.
- Work collaboratively to deliver alignment across services, leadership and external partners.
- Create a culture of professionalism, openness and improvement across the Quality & Regulation team.
- Build constructive and collaborative relationships with key regulatory and other external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement visible and well communicated strategies for quality improvement, audit and learning across the organisation that utilises data and improvement metrics.
- Be responsible for the review of research applications for donor material, chair the Donor Material Review boards and ensure the process is agile and responsive to the innovation in the sector and the needs of the organisation.
- Provide leadership to our research governance and manage internal approvals.
- Be the Designated Individual for the HTA licence.
- Provide leadership, expert advice, information and support to the Senior Leadership Team, Board of Trustees, managers, and staff, on matters relating to quality and regulatory compliance.
