We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior C# Developer to lead the development of scalable, cloud‑based software solutions. You will design and implement robust applications using C#, .NET Core, and Microsoft Azure; mentor junior developers; and collaborate with agile cross‑functional teams.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)
Location: Hybrid, with head office in Hampstead, London (2 days per site initially; further flexibility once settled)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high‑quality, secure C#/.NET applications and services.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to refine requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Champion software development best practices including clean architecture, security, and maintainability.
- Work closely with our Application Support team to troubleshoot critical issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
- Mentor and support junior and mid‑level developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Keep up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and trends in software development.
- Develop and maintain cloud‑based applications in line with modern architectural patterns within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Experienced in C#/.NET Core, Microsoft Azure, microservices, and DevOps practices.
- Strong architecture and collaboration skills.
- Capability to mentor and support juniors.
