My Client based in the UK and Mediterranean who are successful Ship builders and repairers are looking to develop their team further. Due to restructure and expansion, opportunities have arisen within their already successful team.

Applicants for Ship Repair Estimator ideally will have:

  • Experience in Estimating within Ship Repair/Naval Sector.
  • Engineering, mechanical or Naval degree or qualifications.
  • IT Literate.
  • Fluent English (Spanish a bonus).
  • Flexible and reliable.
  • Willing to work hard and contribute as part of a team.
  • Able to meet Deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Read and interpret specifications, understand and read drawings, liaise with dock masters, SRM and production managers.
  • Understand contract and schedule requirements.
  • Ability to project plan and estimate project time scales for each project.
  • Able to deal with multiple project pricing assignments at once.
  • Identify necessary trades for each project.
  • Able to map out man hour costs per project and time frames with individual trade scheduling.
