We are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join our Court of Protection team here at Anthony Collins.
The role will primarily be to support fee earners in the Court of Protection Personal Planning and Management team but there is opportunity to work across the rest of the private client teams which include family, childcare, mental health and wills and probate. The position requires close collaboration with secretarial colleagues to ensure consistent and efficient support across the team.
- The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Typing via dictation
- Dealing with documentation – to include applications to the Court of Protection, court orders, finance requests etc.
- Diary Management
- File management – to include opening and closing files, carrying out compliance checks, scanning and saving documents to the document management system
- Contact with clients and professionals via telephone and email
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent secretarial skills
- They will be enthusiastic and keen to get involved and take on whatever may come their way
- The ability to contribute to a busy department as a reliable team player
- The ability to confidently and sensitively build rapport with clients and third parties and manage client expectations
- Secretarial qualifications are preferable but not essential
