This role is key to providing proactive and comprehensive support to two fee earners, delivering a full secretarial and administrative service. The position requires close collaboration with secretarial colleagues to ensure consistent and efficient support across the team. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, along with the ability to manage emails and phone calls with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Typing from dictation
- Producing, formatting, and amending documents
- Managing client communications via telephone and email
- Diary management, including arranging meetings and travel as required
- Preparing bundles for hearings
- File management, including opening and closing files, conducting compliance checks, and scanning and saving documents to the document management system
- Assisting with billing and financial management
