Do you want to build your expertise in Data Protection (DP) and Information Governance (IG) while supporting a busy, specialist team? You will deliver core data protection and information governance work, supporting the Data Protection Department Leader and wider practice. You’ll play a key role in routine client matters, governance tasks and advisory work across the public sector, housing and corporate transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver routine Information Governance and Data Protection (IGDP) work, including Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and governance reviews.
- Provide advice on confidentiality breaches, data breaches and Data Protection (DP) training.
- Support clients with Freedom of Information (FoI) requests and housing enquiries, including Subject Access Requests (SARs) and Support, Triage and Investigation Requests (STAIRs).
- Assist with Data Protection (DP) due diligence, warranties and data sharing documentation.
- Review responses to legal due diligence enquiries and highlight Data Protection (DP) risks.
