Join Anthony Collins as an Associate or Solicitor in Housing Litigation. We are looking for a passionate Housing Litigation professional to join our Manchester office.
Overview
At Anthony Collins Solicitors we advise and represent housing associations, local authorities, charitable landlords, and co‑operatives across England. You will play a key role in delivering expert legal advice and advocacy that makes a real difference to the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Defending disrepair claims and supervising legal assistants
- Securing and defending anti‑social behaviour injunctions
- Prosecuting under the Environmental Protection Act
- Handling possession claims, including Equality Act and mental capacity defences
- Resolving residential leasehold and shared ownership disputes
- Providing housing management advice, carrying out policy reviews and delivering legislative updates
Qualifications
- Experience in housing law or residential leasehold litigation
- Confident advocacy skills and enthusiasm representing clients at hearings
- Collaborative team player with effective delegation skills
- Highly organised, proactive, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communicator, committed to delivering clear, practical, and commercially sound legal advice
