Legal Secretary - GFC

We are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join our Governance, Funding and Corporate team.

We are looking for a legal secretary to work for 4-5 fee earners within the charity governance team. The successful candidate should have good all-round secretarial and administrative skills, with an eye for detail. They should have a good telephone manner, be able to take detailed messages, be a team player, and also be able to work independently and use their own initiative.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

1. Typing via dictation
2. Document amendments, including reformatting and applying our house style
3. Diary management
4. File management, including opening and closing files, compliance checks, scanning, and saving documents to the document management system
5. Communicating with clients and professionals via telephone and email

About the candidate: The candidate should have excellent typing and administrative skills and be confident in using technology, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. They should be able to develop strong, professional relationships with clients and third parties. Admin and secretarial qualifications are preferred but not essential.
