Anthony Collins Solicitors are looking for a First Line Support professional to join our IT team. You’ll be the first point of contact for all IT support queries, providing exceptional customer service while resolving technical issues across the organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and other technical equipment during core working hours (8:00 – 18:00) on site in our Birmingham office.
- Log, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests via multiple channels.
- Document issues accurately for smooth escalation and resolution.
- Monitor and manage tickets in line with SLAs.
- Support onboarding for new team members, ensuring correct system access.
- Follow defined support procedures and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Participate in ad hoc IT projects as required.
- Travel occasionally to other offices as needed to provide on-site support.
- Previous experience in an IT support or service desk role (preferred but not essential — if you have a passion for IT, we’d love to hear from you!).
- Strong passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively in a busy environment.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks is advantageous but not required.
