Role Overview
As the Systems Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented engineers in the design, development, validation, and deployment of AB Dynamics automotive test equipment, ranging from track testing solutions (driving robot and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) target products) to laboratory-based testing equipment (SPMM, ANVH, SSTM).
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with leading automotive clients worldwide.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and mentor a team of systems and validation engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Drive the design and development of innovative automotive test equipment systems from concept to production
- Implement safety mechanisms and redundancy strategies to enhance the robustness and reliability of our systems
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and document system requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of functionality, performance, and safety criteria
- Collaborate with Project Management team to plan, prioritize, manage resource allocation, and oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and budget constraints
What are we looking for?
- A technical background – Most likely an Engineering Degree or similar
- Proven experience (5+ years) in systems engineering, preferably in the automotive industry or related field
- Strong technical expertise in system design, requirements engineering, and integration of complex systems
- Proficiency in systems engineering tools and methodologies, such as SysML and requirements traceability
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
