Role Overview

The Procurement Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services to meet the needs of the organisation. This involves coordinating with suppliers, tracking orders, and resolving any issues that may arise during the procurement process. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.

What will you be doing?

• Order Tracking: Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Supplier Coordination: Maintain regular communication with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues that may delay the delivery of goods or services.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates on order status to relevant stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving the procurement process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience as an expeditor or in a similar procurement role. Relevant certifications such as CIPS are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
