Senior Business Development Manager This law firm with an excellent reputation across corporate and FS, are growing their BD function, and looking for a ~Senior BD and Marketing Manager to support their specialist practice areas includingTax, Employment, Technology Commercial, Funds, Real Estate, DSP, Operational Risk & Environment and Pensions. The role will lead on the strategy and BD plans for these areas, and will have a lot of autonomy. The role would suit a dynamic and proactive individual who is looking for a challenging and varied role with an engaged partner group. The role will be incredibly broad, but general duties include:Create targeted business development and marketing activity plans Create client action plans and ensure they are actioned and lead to key client growth Work with the wider Business Development team to ensure that activities are aligned across practice groups and cross-firm initiatives to ensure cross-selling .Create dynamic and creative marketing campaigns, events and PR to support the growth of the practice groups Assist the Pitch team in writing compelling bids, and coaching partners to ensure the firm’s USPs are delivered effectively. The role would suit someone with around 6 years of BD experience, from professional services or legal. You should have persuasive communication skills and the ability to understand macro-economic issues and use them to define appropriate business development plans and activity.
