A rare, first-time appointment with a boutique law firm. This is a great opportunity to work closely with partners to really shape the future of the firm from a marketing and business development perspective. The firm has a strong business plan in place, and this role will be essential in supporting the firm’s vision and growth strategy coming to life. Key to the success of the firm’s future growth and brand will be profile raising, targeting and client development. You must enjoy working on both the strategic and tactical delivery, as well as demonstrating strong leadership and mentoring of a small team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Devising, implementing and managing ongoing marketing and BD activities across the firm, aligning and driving overall BD and marketing strategy and function
- Working with the practice and sector groups to identify, analyse and develop new business opportunities
- Advising and coaching partners and associates on how to grow personal profiles and deliver personal BD plans
- Managing the marketing budget and taking responsibility for both monitoring, reporting and ROI on all events and general marketing expenditure
- Leading the team in the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns including thought leadership, PR, events, collateral and website
The successful candidate will have significant experience in the legal sector and be confident and experienced in influencing key stakeholders.
