Events Specialist role focusing on internal events and international travel, in a popular US law firm. London based with 4 days in the office a week. Up to £65,000. The US law firm has a well-established team in London, and are looking for an Events Specialist to work in parallel to their Marketing, Talent and Office Administration teams.

The role will report into the Travel and Events Manager, and will be responsible for the planning and delivery of internal and external meetings and events for the London office. This could include: seminars, dinners, receptions, retreats and conferences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and delivering innovative meetings and events in collaboration with Partners and other internal stakeholders;
  • Coordinating event logistics, such as catering, décor, entertainment, AV and travel;
  • Maintaining and growing the firm’s selection of external contacts, venues and contacts;
  • Identifying cost saving opportunities and efficiencies for their events;
  • Developing communications for event attendees and wider event collateral;
  • Executing the pre and post event registration process;
  • Reporting on events statistics for the team.

The role will suit an events management professional with at least 4 years of experience. Ideally candidates will have experience within legal or a comparable global professional services environment. Experience of managing international event logistics would be highly desirable.
