Marketing and Business Development Manager role in a top international law firm, focusing on Life Sciences and Health Care. London based with hybrid working. This global law firm is reputable in the Life Sciences and Health Care space, with growth in their team.
The firm is looking for a BD Manager in their London team, to work closely with counterparts in Europe and the US. The role will manage the BD plans for the sector group in London and elements of the regulatory practice. There are a lot of interesting initiatives on the horizon for the group, especially around the AI driven elements for the sector, with showcases coming up in the US and EU later this year. The role will be very campaign and events driven.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with the sector team to develop M&BD plans for the group;
- Leading thought leadership campaigns, events and sponsorships;
- Managing responses to RFPs and developing a resource of credentials;
- Staying up to date with industry trends to drive growth and cross selling;
- Leading on the growth of specific client relationships;
- Working on directory and award submissions;
- Working with the wider practices such as IP on global BD initiatives.
The firm is looking for a BD professional with experience and knowledge of the Life Sciences sector. This could have been gained in a legal, accounting or consultancy environment. They are open to Senior Executives / Specialists stepping up if they can demonstrate strong stakeholder management and BD planning experience.
