London with hybrid working.

This popular international law firm is looking for a Business Development and Marketing Manager to join the firm’s Finance group.

The role will support the new strategic direction for their banking, loan finance and restructuring practices.

This is a nice role, where you can make your mark and help build a new strategy, bringing together a new Partner group.

The role will report into a Head of BD for the B&F groups, making this a great role for an experienced Senior Executive or Specialist looking to step up and learn from an excellent leader!

And the firm have a great culture and a solid history of developing the team and creating progression opportunities.

Many of the Corporate and Finance BD team have been at the firm for 10 years, and this role is due to an internal promotion.

Key duties include: Developing the BD strategies with the Head of BD, including BD plans for specific subareas and Partners; Supporting on client account management for key strategic clients in the banking practice; Developing profile raising BD initiatives, including events, thought leadership campaigns, PR etc; Managing responses to RFPs and creating customised pitches; Staying up to date with industry news, and spotting opportunities for the team and Partners; The firm are ideally looking for a candidate with experience supporting a banking / finance practice.

They are happy to look at Senior BD Executives with this practice experience stepping up or perhaps BD Managers looking to make a sideways step from a broader transactional group.

Candidates must be confident managing BD plans and being stakeholder facing.

Bid management and legal directory experience is essential for this role.
