This prestigious US law firm is growing its European business development capability with the appointment of a new leader.
As a result, the BD function in Europe with London at its hub is becoming more strategic and advisory.
In this Business Development Manager role you will be aligned to its market leading Corporate, Disputes/Litigation and Project Finance practice groups.
This role is therefore a great opportunity to gain exposure to these practice areas which are important for career progression in an international law firm setting.
This is a full mix role where you will be responsible for: Working on the development of each group’s marketing plan and ensuring that the plans are actioned and delivered; Managing bids and proposals end-to-end; Ensuring each team’s client data and target lists are managed; Working with the partners to write, edit and distribute client content such as newsletters, updates, alerts and press releases.
Working with the PR team to ensure that the profile of the groups is raised in the marketplace; Managing directory and award submissions; Market and client research; Organising large scale prestigious events; Measurement, monitoring and reporting.
The firm offers hybrid working of three days in the office.
You will have business development experience gained in a major international law firm (Ideally a magic circle or US law firm).
Most importantly, you will have strong influencing and presentation skills as well as excellent proof-reading and editing skills.
