BD Manager role aligned to Family and Divorce within a boutique London law firm. Client facing role. London based with hybrid working.

This boutique specialist law firm is seeking a Business Development Manager due to team growth. The role will spearhead the BD strategy and client targeting for their Divorce / Family group within the Private Client practice. This is one of the biggest areas for the firm, working with some exceptional lawyers!

The role will involve building relationships with key referrers, as well as encouraging business planning and cross selling from the partners. This is a fantastic legal BD role for someone who is looking for a strategic and client facing position.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing group business plans;
  • Supporting Partners in developing their own BD plans;
  • Identifying new markets and opportunities;
  • Supporting with the planning of international meetings and events;
  • Building relationships with potential and existing referrers;
  • Attending networking events and working with the marketing team to deliver client events;
  • Implementing client feedback and follow-up processes following all campaigns;
  • Provide strategic input on marketing activities such as firmwide projects, legal directories etc.

Ideally candidates will have considerable BD experience within the legal sector or comparable professional services environments. Experience of private clients is essential and family law experience would also be highly desirable. Candidates need to demonstrate experience of developing BD strategies as well as managing client relationships.
