This high-profile law firm is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their corporate and innovation team. The role will be different to your standard corporate BD role in a law firm, targeting a lot of clients in the tech, life sciences, digital comms and FS space. This is a key priority growth area for the firm, and integral to its future growth. The role will also be supported by a BD Executive.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing profile raising strategies for the group and the lawyers;
  • Working with the wider BD&M team in developing PR pieces, thought leadership and events for the group;
  • Identify and develop key clients and intermediaries;
  • Developing pitch document and credentials in collaboration with the wider BD team;
  • Conducting research and staying on top of industry trends.

The role will suit a BD Manager or Senior Executive who’s ready to step up. Ideally you will have exposure to corporate and innovation within legal, or have a keen interest in the practice. Experience of client development programmes and pitch management would also be desirable.
