Business Development Manager – 12 month maternity cover FTC aligned to the IP group in highly innovative law firm. Sept/Oct start.
This is one of the world’s most innovative law firms – well known for its entrepreneurial approach and great culture as well as its expertise in the TMT and life sciences sectors, working for some of the biggest blue chip clients in the world.
In this Business Development Manager role, you will be aligned to the firm’s world leading intellectual property practice. Starting in late September/early October, you will cover maternity leave for 12 months. What’s more, the firm has a good reputation for extended contractors and finding permanent roles for them.
This is a full mix marketing and BD role which on a day-to-day basis will involve:
- Working with the IP partners to develop and implement the business development plan; Facilitating cross-selling opportunities between the IP and other practice areas such as the corporate group; Working on bids, proposals and credentials; Developing and running campaigns and thought leadership; Other profile raising initiatives such as events, social media, directory and award submissions; Managing a junior resource.
You will have really solid marketing and business development experience gained in a major law or accounting/consulting firm. The team will consider a Senior BD Executive stepping up for this role as well as experienced managers. You’ll be available for a September/October start.
