BD and Alumni Manager role in a top London law firm. Hybrid working. A great opportunity for a Senior Executive to step up!
\n This London law firm is offering a unique opportunity to the market. This is a newly created role and the BD Manager will take a dual role across practice driven BD and alumni relations.

50% of the role will focus on growing and developing the firm’s alumni programme, working closely with the Head of BD. This is a key priority for the Managing Partner and Senior Partner, with plenty of buy in firmwide.

\n
The other 50% of the role will focus on BD for some of the firm’s smaller practices such as employment, pensions, competition and FS regulations. Each of these practices has only two or three Partners, and the firm is looking for the BD Manager to bring them together and get them sharing ideas.

The role will include:

Alumni:
\n

- Developing and delivering the firm’s alumni strategy; Improving alumni data and tracking; Identifying and building relationships with priority alumni; Delivering events and comms for the programme;

\n
Business Development:
\n

- Coordinating key BD activities, such as pitches, thought leadership and directories; Identifying opportunities for cross selling, and ensuring the smaller practices are connected to firm-wide initiatives; Setting practice objectives and monitoring performance;

The role will join a supportive team, making this a great opportunity for a Senior BD Executive to step up. Alumni programme experience isn’t essential, but some understanding of how a programme works will be key. Candidates will have strong event management skills and be comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
