Bid Manager role at a leading international law firm based in London or Bristol. This leading law firm is looking for a Bid Manager to lead on their pitches to well-known international brands. You will work closely with the Senior Bid Manager to improve the bid function and processes, as well as working with Partners, lawyers, and BD teams on the delivery of strategic pitches and RFPs.
The role will lead on the full proposal management process. This includes:
- Qualifying new opportunities
- Defining win themes
- Developing the proposal strategy
- Project managing the production of the bid
- Preparing stakeholders for pitch presentations
The role will also be involved in the post-bid review and client listening. The Bid Manager will work on process improvements within the bid team, acting as a champion across the business for bid best practice, improving pipelines and tracking, and maintaining and improving pitch infrastructure (including the intranet and proposal libraries). They will also get involved in bid training for fee earners.
The firm is looking for a credible legal bids professional, with a strong understanding of best practice and experience of managing major international tenders. Having an APMP accreditation is also desirable. The firm offers a hybrid policy, with 2 days in the office a week, and they are open to considering this role in their London or Bristol office.
